I am so glad I found it!By KathleenThis is my first pregnancy. I want to cherish every moment, and I have been looking for a good pregnancy journal. This journal is an absolute must have. Each page is filled with great topic starters and give plenty of room to write. What I really enjoy about this journal compared to others, is that each page is different. Different questions, and different ideas to write about so you won't miss a thing and can appreciate looking back on these memories one day. There are spots on most pages to add pictures of yourself and your growing family. Rather than regular pregnancy journals that are filled with blank pages for each week of the pregnancy, and filler pages for things like an exercise log, this journal contains decorative stickers, a banner, and much more. Don't miss out!2 of 2 people found the following review helpful.Half Journal/Half ScrapbookBy LoriI originally bought the "Pregnancy Journal: A Week by Week Guide to a Happy, Healthy Pregnancy," but thought it didn't really meet my needs, so then I reviewed some more books at a store and came to to buy them. On my second round of shopping, I opted for a book that was more "journally" and fun (this one) and one that was much more technical and gave tips/advice (what to expect when you're expecting journal and organizer). As someone who LOVES to scrapbook, but is still trying to finish another album before baby comes, this is a great compromise. This journal includes picture frames for your photos, lots of stickers such as "We're having a __________!" "1st Contraction date: ________" "Picked a name! date:_______" for you to include throughout the journal, and coordinating patterned paper so you can create backgrounds for your photos. Every other page is a journaling page and opposite those pages are photo pages with prompts of what kind of photo(s) to include. So to make the book nice, it does require taking lots of photos throughout the pregnancy, before, and after. It includes journaling about your own story, your own memories, the baby's family tree, people's reactions, etc. I like that it gives many prompts for the questions rather than just blank spots for your reflections (but it does have those too). Overall very fun and creative journal, but not your journal to keep track of dr. appts or other technical stuff.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.excellent way to document pregnancyBy Mariana K.Love the way this turned out. I will warn you that to truly complete this book it will require countless hours of crafting. You must be really into picture taking, which I happened to be in order to have enough photos to fill this up. I bought lots of scrap booking accessories to decorate the pages, but I liked the stickers that that it came with too. Would recommend you put the various milestones in your phone in the notes and as they happen you note the dates otherwise you won't remember. My main criticism is the book is centered completely around the mom. I had to color copy the family pages to create some for my husband's side. I get that not everyone might have a significant other/husband but isn't that the exception, not the rule I would suggest author create a couple versions; for mom/dad, single parent and same sex couples. Bottom line, if you put in the effort into this book, it will come out beautifully.See all 92 customer reviews...
